Deploy Flashlight

A lot of my adventures occur away from home which, requires space conservation when packing.  The Deploy flashlight easily slips into any pack or bag I’m carrying or, even in my pocket.

With up to 300 lumens available and high and low settings it offered all the light I needed getting too and from the blind this past turkey season.

Probably my favorite features are the rechargeable lithium polymer battery and the battery life indicator. No more worrying about packing batteries or wondering how much juice is left in the tank. I can also use the same portable battery charger I carry to keep my phone powered up.

Skyweight 36L

I have to confess I originally intended to use the camo Skyweight 36L as a hunting pack.  However, once it arrived and I started packing for various trips, pleasure, business, or hunting, I found that I really liked it for traveling.  I have yet to take it to the woods but, it has accompanied me on every trip I’ve ventured on in the last 6 months.

Plenty of room for a few days away with gear loops I used to attach shoes and water bottles to expand my carrying capacity.  Oh and it comes with a rainfly in the event you get caught out in the weather.

Coupled with a padded back panel, load lifters, lumbar pad, and hip belt, you can pack a pretty heavy load without the discomfort. I didn’t try it, but I’d be willing to bet it would be a breeze packing out a deer hind quarter if you ever found yourself in that situation.
